Grab a beer and pull up a chair for ground school with Neptune and Golden Mountain Guides!
Hone your haul skills with demonstrations from our friends at GMG, including techniques for rescuing a stuck climber and hauling gear for big wall climbs, so you’re ready for your next big objective.
Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase in the Neptune Cafe—enjoy some hops, learn some hauls!
14er Season Kickoff

’Tis the season for hiking Colorado’s iconic 14,000-foot peaks!
Join us for a social hour, then listen to a presentation from the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI) on gearing up and getting after a 14er.
Enjoy a performance from Dr. Stephanie Zelnick, high-altitude researcher and clarinetist a high-altitude researcher and clarinetist who played the highest recorded classical music concert on Mt. Elbert.
Wrap up the evening with a gear giveaway to benefit CFI and the awesome work they do protecting our beautiful 14ers.
